Practicing being aware, without judgements, without “shoulds,” without “analyzing,” blaming, just seeing, just feeling… is to be at peace with what IS.
“When you part from your friend, grieve not; For that which you love in him most may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plains.” ~Kahlil Gibran
“Treat your friends like you do your pictures, and place them in their best light” ~Jennie Jerome Churchill
And if you do judge, blame, or feel hurt, is there a projection going on?
“Where am I just like them?” “Where would I do what they do given certain circumstances? Could I be just like them, if I were in their shoes?” “Or am I just like them and do not see nor accept that within myself?” “What is the learning opportunity for me here?”
Blessings of peace and acceptance….
“To become conscious of Being, you need to reclaim consciousness from the mind. A very effective way of doing this is simply to take the focus of your attention away from thinking and direct it into the body, where Being can be felt as the invisible energy field that gives life to the physical body.” ~Eckhart Tolle
One way to do this, is to imagine going down an elevator from the floor of your “thinking head” down to the heart and exit there, and feel how it feels, to reside in the heart.
