Fees, Policies & Forms

Fees & Policies

The fee for a 50-minute session is $150, for an 80 min. session  $200. The fee is the same regardless of one person, a couple or a family and regardless of the treatment modality uses in session.

A group session of 90 minutes is $40 per person.

You will find my fees are reasonable, considering the excellent possible results that aren’t possible to achieve when only using traditional psychotherapy. In general you could feel much better in a relatively short amount of time.

I have a limited number of openings for sliding-scale clients. This is based on your household income and ability to pay. If the standard fee is not affordable for you, please call or email to inquire about availability. We will establish your fee before the first session begins.

I ask for payment at each session. For your convenience I accept credit card, cash or check.

Sessions are held either in person, over the phone or per Skype.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved for you. A 12-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule sessions without a charge occurring.  For missed sessions or sessions canceled with less than 12 hour notice you will be charged a flat rate of $ 80.

Health insurance plans have a Mental Health Benefit program that covers psychotherapy. I am an “out of-network provider”. Insurance sessions are 45 min. length. In some cases the insurance will partially or fully pay for your service in a single case agreement due to my expertise and speciality training.

If needed I  will provide you with a super bill for each visit and paid fee, which you can turn in to your insurance carrier for reimbursement or for tax purposes. PPO’s reimburse the psychotherapy fee fully or partially. If you are planning on using health insurance, it is always recommended you check with your insurance regarding your coverage first. Feel free to inquire, if needed I can assist with insurance matters. Health insurance benefit cards are accepted.

Victims of Crime

If you are a Victim of a Crime and you have filled a police report, you might be qualified to receive therapy free of charge under the California Victim Witness Program. I am a provider with the Victim Witness Program and as an experienced trauma and EMDR specialist can help you get over any of the challenges you have experienced.
